Sutta Study Group

This group no longer meets. This page was retained for historical purposes.

While Shaila was our teacher she led a sutta study group. The group will hold monthly meetings again (alas, without Shaila) starting November 21, 2004. The group plans to meet the third Friday of each month from 9:00am to 12:00 noon at members' homes.

The group will read suttas from The Middle Length Discourses of the Buddha: A New Translation of the Majjhima Nikaya (Teachings of the Buddha) by Bhikkhu Nanamoli (Translator) and Bhikkhu Bodhi (Editor). The group will also use Sharda Rogell's study guide Pressing Out Pure Honey.
